As CEO of amnis, my vision has always been to create a trusted platform for effortless banking for businesses — a single hub where currency accounts, cards, global payments, FX, cash management, and automated financial operations come together seamlessly. By automating more than 70% of these processes — from expense management to payment capturing — we are transforming financial operations into an intuitive, borderless, and fully connected experience. This gives finance teams back valuable time so they can focus on steering the business instead of processing paperwork.

From payment platform to modern finance stack

The last two years marked a defining shift in our journey: amnis has evolved from a powerful cross-border payment platform into a fully fledged finance stack designed for modern companies with international business activities.

This transformation wasn’t driven by features alone – it was driven by a belief: that global finance should be effortless, transparent, and increasingly automated for every company, not just large enterprises.

Today’s finance teams navigate multiple currencies, systems, accounts, and jurisdictions. They don’t need a collection of tools; they need a unified environment where payments, FX, cards, expenses, cash management, data, and intelligence work together seamlessly.

That is the finance stack we are building.
A finance stack that removes friction from global operations, automates financial workflows, integrates deeply into existing systems, and gives teams the clarity they need to steer their business.

The updates we launched this year – from full mobile payments to automated foreign currency exchange and expanded global accounts – are not just new features.
They are foundational building blocks of a modern finance stack designed for speed, intelligence, and global scale.

Our enhanced mobile app now offers full payment capabilities and FX execution, which enables finance teams to move money globally with the same simplicity and control they have on their desktops.
Cash management increasingly runs on autopilot: Companies can trigger FX conversions or payments based on balance thresholds, turning manual treasury tasks into smart, rule-based workflows.

Security remained a priority as we introduced device whitelisting, with more protection features to follow.
At the same time, new AI-powered capabilities – such as AI expense management, AI payment capturing, and soon the ability to process payments or complete expense tasks simply by forwarding an email – allow teams to eliminate hours of manual work each week and focus on driving the business forward.

These advancements form the backbone of the amnis finance stack – enabling companies to work smarter, move faster, and operate globally without complexity.

Finance is changing. Automation and AI are leading the way. amnis is making this future accessible to every business.

Integration first

2025 was a defining year for our integration-first strategy. With the support of our CHF 10 million Series B funding round led by Swisscom and our selection for the Mastercard Emerging Start Path program, we accelerated the expansion of the amnis ecosystem across core financial tools and infrastructures.

We strengthened our connectivity with leading ERP and accounting systems to ensure finance teams can work directly in the environments they know best. Integrations such as bexio Pay, Exact Online, and our collaboration with implementation partners make real-time synchronisation and automated posting part of the everyday workflow – reducing friction and eliminating reconciliation gaps. With the amnis public API and our custom data export templates, we also enabled even more flexibility for businesses that need tailored connectivity and data flows.

At the same time, we expanded our payment and card capabilities by connecting amnis to modern payment networks, enabling digital wallet support and more flexible payout options for internationally active businesses. We also introduced automated reconciliation for international card spending through new partners, which further reduces manual effort and increases data accuracy across systems. In addition, we launched business debit card payments through Apple Pay and Google Pay.

This integration layer is becoming the backbone of the amnis platform, creating a connected ecosystem that removes silos, increases transparency, and enables automated, end-to-end financial processes. Looking ahead, we will continue to build on this foundation with AI-driven expense automation, allowing receipt capture, classification, and matching to run fully in the background and bringing manual pre-accounting close to zero. In addition, we will introduce multi-currency acquiring, including PayPal, to give e-commerce businesses even greater flexibility with global payment acceptance.

Automation first

Automation is at the heart of the amnis platform. Companies now reach over 90% automation in reconciliation and accounting entries.

Receipts are automatically read, categorised, and assigned to the correct VAT and cost centers. Bank statement matching, and real-time notifications ensure reliable financial visibility with minimal manual input. amnis also offers full automation of cash management, along with customisable rules tailored to each user’s unique needs and preferences.

This level of automation reduces errors, accelerates workflows, and gives finance teams back the time they need to focus on strategic decisions. Looking ahead, we will expand our ecosystem with AI-powered expense management to read, categorise, and match receipts automatically – a first important step toward making manual pre-accounting a thing of the past.

Team expenses used to be Excel only. Now it’s just automated. My accountant tells me we save at least 10 hours per week.

Empowering companies around the globe

amnis empowers companies with the financial infrastructure, transparency, and knowledge they need to operate confidently – locally and across borders. With no hidden fees and fair, transparent pricing, our customers save up to 80% on payment and processing costs, while finance teams reduce manual work by up to 70%.

amnis is built global by default: multi-currency accounts, international payments, and FX capabilities are designed for companies that operate across markets, while our 24/7 self-service ensures that teams can work whenever and wherever their business demands. At the same time, we expanded our multi-currency infrastructure, adding DKK IBANs to our existing suite of CHF, EUR, GBP, SEK, USD, and CAD local accounts to further facilitate international money transfers.

But true empowerment goes beyond tools. We equip our clients with knowledge – through FAQs, blogs, best-practice content, and our ongoing Product Updates webinar series, which started in 2025. This webinar – along with all other amnis webinars, whitepapers, and factsheets – can be viewed in our resource library.
